How to install Shutoff on the plane

Here we show few easy steps how to install shtoff device on the plane.
This is an "express" method and it takes less than 5 minutes to make your plane ready to fly with shutoff.
Provided solution is not final - other pliots like Boriss Yalunin uses other options, but mostly it requires significal plane's modification.
So...

We are taking the plane with engine. We only need few things for installation process: knife, sealing tape (I'm using Scotch) and ruller. No soldering is required!

Step 1. Cut foam for shutoff board an battery

Marking a place for board which is 20mm from motomount. Mark the cutting space as 40x5 mm.

Using a knife, getting unnecessary foam away.I used pre-setted size of knife edge to make sure not cutting bottom side of the plane.

Then we take some sealing tape (150 mm lenth) and put it around the ruller as shown on the picture. Side with glue should be outside.

Put the ruller with tape inside foam in full height.

Glue ends of the tape to covering. We done with step 1.

Step 2. Setting a valve

To attach the valve to the plane we use plastic security seal shown on a picture.

Connecting the valve to motomount takes few seconds.

3. Connecting the wire to lines

Using long needle, pierce the foam and make the hole fit for connection wire go through.

Cut the covering on a plane to get access to the lines.

The connection wire (included to each Shutoff device package) has the connector on one side for connecting to the board and cleaned another end.

Connect the wire to the line making a loops over it until you used all cleand part of wire. Do not solder it! Soldered wire may brake because of vibration. Due to the nature of signal we are using in our shutoff strong connection is not required.

Step 4. Connect all parts together

Now we are connecting battery valve and connecting wire to the receiver board.
All parts have the same connectors type but don't worry if you connect any part to wrong place - the system is safe and won't burn out.

Put board and battery into container and tape it over, just don't tape part with swicher.

Turn switch on and test the board - it is working!

We are all set. The plane is ready to fly.
